Long gone are Joseph McCarthy and H.U.A.C in the 50’s. The 1960’s John Birch Society, Young Americans for Freedom, anti-Castro Cubans and Minutemen has departed. The Hard Hats of the early 70’s has evaporated. Goodbye to the religious right and the Young Republicans of the 1980’s. Say so long to the Militia movement of the 90’s. Neo Cons? Say good night! Tea Party Patriots of the 21st century, exit stage right.

The only durability the U.S right has is the super rich Anglo patriarchy. Every generation of the blue blood has a slightly different approach to maintain their ultimate hold on power. Most of the economic woes are due to their destructive greed. They spend millions, if not billions to shift blame from their misdeeds and shifted to the, (Sic) government. That propaganda has succeeded on white baby boomers that live in trailer parks. Socialism is a threat to the USA like a virgin getting pregnant. To Tea Party cretins, Exxon/Mobile are just nice white guys trying to make an honest buck and the evil socialist government is oppressing them by taxation and regulations. These naïve plebeians are perfect flunkies for the super riches agents of propaganda. Groups like, “Freedom Works” brainwash the trailer park commoners by false information, which is, dispense by old media and new media. You might say they are: Capitalist dupes, but sounds too much like left-wing McCarthyism.

There are 310; million people in the United States and only 1.5 % of that population are right wing reactionaries. The so-called Liberal media sure likes to give coverage to the Tea Party Movement. Why? Because the so-called Liberal Media is just The same old Corporate Media and covering left wing movements would be political suicide. The left is anti-corporate and the Tea Party is anti-government. So covering a bunch morons in straw hats and Hawaiian shirts screaming about the red menace is not only good television but non-threatening to corporations.

So who are the true elitists? Is it a movie producer in Hollywood, or a professor in a university? Is it a country club conservative who is a CEO from an oil company? The right has tried to change the meaning of the word, “Elitist” and shifting it to rich Jews and Catholics. They shifted the word, “Elitist” to describe the left wing intelligentsia. That means the not so smart Tea Party Patriot thinks that right wing means Joe six-pack. They are constantly attack the rich holocaust survivor: George Soros while Richard Million Scaife and Pete Coors lurk in the darkness.

The cynosure of this misguided movement is the P.T Barnum of the right: Glenn Beck. Here is a loser found a way out of his failed life by reading right wing talking points on cable TV in a vaudevillian fashion equipped with props such as a chalk broad with a goofy sarcastic dialog. One problem with that method, potential sponsors are apprehensive in advertising on this show with a host who is an alarmist and is an historical revisionist. The very economic system he supports has rejected his show. It is bad business and a public relation nightmare to support a conspiracy nut. Why does he get such high ratings? Because everybody wants to watch him to commit suicide on the public airways. His ratings are getting lower because Glenn Beck loves himself too much to do him self in. Nobody wants to see a nutty white guy lecture everybody on rugged individualism. They already have an uncle who does that during Thanksgiving dinners. There are people who believe in self-reliance, however, they know there are segments in society who can’t fend for them selves, the mentally ill, people who are dying from cancer, the very old and the very young. The right thinks the simple solution is to pawn that segment of society to religious institutions or have the immediate family to take care of them. So why do they think government should not take care of the sick or the poor? For the reason is: they want the government to protect the very rich. That is what the Bush/Cheney administration did.

Nobody and I mean nobody can speak for the American people. That is the latest GOP talking point. I could say: The American people want me to get laid.

So say goodbye to the Tea Party! It only time until the Republican Party ends up like the Wig Party.
