This month’s “Faces of Medical Marijuana” interview is with a legal medical cannabis patient from El Cajon, CA named Moises a.k.a @TheStonedJoker on Twitter.

“TheStonedJoker” is 25 years old and works a full-time job in construction, which is a prime example of medical marijuana patients being able to overcome their ailments and function well in society.

The 420 Times: What ailments do you use cannabis to treat?

TheStonedJoker: I use it mainly for anxiety.

420: How long have you been a legal patient?

TSJ: I’ve just recently got my medi card, about a month ago.

420: When did you start using cannabis?

TSJ: I started using bud when I was about fourteen.

420: Did you use recreationally at first?

TSJ: Yeah, just with friends you know? At kick backs, party’s or with my girl at the time.

420: How hard was it for you to get your medical marijuana card? Can you tell
me a little about the experience of getting it?

TSJ: For me it was exciting and it took a lot of stress away because I used to carry my medication with me and now I feel comfortable and relaxed with the medi card. Now I’m excited because I want to go to every medi shop. I’ve even been looking at medi shops in other county’s and states “ROADTRIP”! And it wasn’t hard at all because I had a lot of symptoms to check off  and I had prescriptions that help control my symptoms.

420: What would your life be like without cannabis?

TSJ: I’d probably be taking more pills.

420: Did doctors ever try to put you on prescription medication? If so,
what kind and why?

TSJ: Yeah and I’m still on them. I take two pills for anxiety; one is Zoloft and the other is Ativan.

420: Do you find that certain strains work best for you? If so, which ones?

TSJ: I prefer my sativas and indicas. I don’t really care for hybrids.

420: What did your parents and other authority figures tell you about
cannabis when you were growing up?

TSJ: Well school always use to say drug free the way to be (DARE), but I never cared what they said and my my mom and pops never knew I smoked till now, but I always knew they smoked when I was growing up.

420: Have you ever been in legal trouble due to cannabis?

TSJ: I have never got into legal trouble with bud and trust me they had their chance.

420: Are you active in medical marijuana politics in your state?

TSJ: Yes, but not as much as I should be. I’ve been looking into it since I’ve got my medi card.

420: What are your thoughts on full marijuana legalization for adults?

TSJ: I think everyone has smoked bud before!  When I go into medi shops I trip about the people that do smoke; I’m talking about old, young, rich, poor, EVERYBODY!  I just think the government is scared to make it legal!
